Hi! I'm Mike Herzog and I'm the President and Founder of the Life Design Center.
If you are like most people who come to the center, you are pretty satisfied with most aspects of your life. You've accomplished some cool things and likely had some amazing experiences. And yet...
Something is missing.
Perhaps you feel stuck in one particular area. Maybe you're feeling a little bit lost about which direction to head next. Maybe you are simply longing for something more, but you're not quite sure what that something is.
I know the feeling. I've been there myself.
You are ready to make a change.
Most people feel some degree of resistance when it comes to making change in their lives. It takes the form of excuses and limiting beliefs. You tell yourself...
These are the stories we tell ourselves so that we can sleep at night. We repeat them, over and over, until they become our reality.
Our mission at the Life Design Center is helping you to rewrite your story. In this new story, you are the hero.
If you are looking for some kind of magic lamp solution, you've come to the wrong place. Life Design is hard work and it takes commitment. But it is sooooo worth the effort. And we'll help you every step of the way.

Since this is the place where I'm supposed to establish my "credibility", I figured I might as well share some of my story with you. Here it goes...
In most ways, I'm just like you. I've had my ups and downs over the course of my life. I've had lots of opportunity to figure out what I'm good at and what I'm not. It turns out, I'm kind of a one-trick pony. Over the years, I have discovered my unique gift is bridging body and soul.
What the heck does that mean? You'll have to check out the Quest for Vision section below to find out.
Let's just say, I've been doing this for a long time. I believe it's what I was born to do. I don't expect to convince you with a few simple words, or an extensive resume. It's better if you have your own experience and make your own assessment. You'll find opportunities to do that right here, on this website.
I didn't get here on my own. Over the years, I've has had the wonderful good fortune to study under many great masters and teachers, including John Maxwell, Integral Coaching Canada, The Strozzi Institute, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Fielding Graduate University, The Collaborative Operating System, Diane Musho Hamilton (Integral Facilitator), Sparrow Hart (Circles of Air & Stone), Dai Sifu Jeff Webb (Austin Ving Tsun), and Professor Dande Santos (Gracie Barra)
That's me. I'd love to know a bit about you. Drop me a note when you get a chance.
In the fall of 2014, I entered into the Gila National Forest for a five-day vision quest. The vision quest is a time-honored tradition of nearly every spiritual discipline and typically includes three key elements: Solitude, Nature, and Fasting. In the native American tradition, the vision quest often marked the transition from childhood to adulthood and included the discovery and adoption of a new tribal name.
Though I did not go into the wilderness seeking a new name, the universe did see fit to offer one that I has proven to be instrumental in shaping my life ever since. The name that came to me during my quest was...
Bridge Between Body and Soul.
This has come to serve as a reminder of what I now understand to be my purpose in the world...To help individuals and organizations reach their highest potential by serving as a bridge between their body and their soul.
What does this mean?
It means connecting the head and the heart. It means helping people to live in the real world while creating connection to something bigger. It means balancing dreams with reality.
A complete life includes BOTH body and soul.
