For most, these are confusing times. We feel called to something more but we feel deeply anchored to the life we have. Part of us wants something different, but we’re unwilling to risk everything to find it.
Most of us would prefer to have a calling, but we’re unwilling to risk our career to find it.
So, we do nothing. We continue living the way we’ve been living. The same work. The same patterns. When it comes to matters of the soul, inertia is a powerful enemy.
We tell ourself … it’s not that bad. We tell ourself … I’ll think about this tomorrow.
We wait. But tomorrow never comes. And then it’s too late.
We shouldn’t have to defer our deepest longings. We shouldn’t have to wait.
But we shouldn’t have to give up what we have to find what we want.
Each and every one of us deserves a deeply meaningful and purposeful life, which means doing meaningful work.
There is a way. And it’s closer than you think.
